Wow is all I will say!
But it's not a wow about something good, oh no.... It's just how hard this is going to be with me constantly hitting a brick wall.
Wolves actually managed to win away at a very good Brighton side and like I said in my previous post, Brighton were battering Wolves as well while in the five minutes I watched. But thankful of small mercies, I didn't lose everything. I did lose £10 though and now £19.10.
I'm trying not to chase money while doing this, but it's to prove you can beat the bookie with smart BRM. There is another game in just five minutes and this time it's to close to call. So backing the draw is my bet of choice. Backing draws in football matches is what bookmakers do not want you to do and to be fair I'd say about 90%'of punters who back football matches either pick home or away and which is how the bookmakers make there money. Not enough punters back the draw, but hopefully this next game will show just how often a draw is an end result.
The game is QPR v Hull and I'm going to round the cash down, so it's a £4.10 bet to leave us with £15.
01 Jan 2016 - QPR v Hull - Match Betting
Draw @ 3.00
Stake:£4.10
Estimated Returns:£12.30
Transaction Reference:O/15104457/0000020/F
I'm very surprised with the odds for the draw on this game. It's very unusual to find odds of 2/1 or lower for domestic football matches and it's a long time since I saw odds of 2/1 or 3.00 in new money. But this can go either of the three ways because it's just to close to call. So if in doubt, back the draw..... Let's see how it pans out....
